My first PG show (though not my first concert) was on this tour. I was 15 years old and exclusively into hard rock and heavy metal. This show COMPLETELY blew my mind, opening it up to a world of musical possibilities I didn't even know existed. I left that show a different person
At the Graceland Paul Simon Tour of 1987 I was in the second row at that show in San Francisco and I had the pleasure of meeting Peter that night! I went to the show alone and when I got to my seat I sat down and said hi to the person sitting next to me as usual. Then I noticed it was Peter, so we enjoyed the show together, talked, and made an awesome memory together for me to remember!!! I have been so Blessed over the years meeting musicians along the way in my 1400+ show history. Thanks for writing. Bless Up.✌👍👂🦻👁💪✍🙏
One of the most awesome guitar man I ever seen
The greatest band that ever existed..Always and forever Peter ❤️
For some reason every time I watch this one I felt so connected to the real rasta world. And remember those 12 tribe meetings I use to go with my friends.. I dont have to have dreadlocks to be a Rasta. Always and forever Peter ♥️ ❤️
❤
Temptations were better then the Beatles
Rest in peace leading vocalist peace to your younger want
Great job by all!!!!😋😎😍😘🤗
Ollie Woodson was so fine and a great lead singer
I was 16 then saw Willie, I waited outside the Villa Hotel in San Mateo CA for two hours until he came out. It was just me Willie and Bus driver he shook my hand and said God bless you signed my chew can and a T shirt. I was one elated young man who couldn't wait to tell his friends who I met that night I'll never forget it and now August 3 I'm going to see Willie at the Shoreline ❤ one happy fan hope he gets well soon,Lukas is doing a smash up job 😊
✌👍🙌🙏✍🤳
Also Georgie Fame isn't it?
looking for the June 26th show but this will work just fine a few weeks earlier on the tour! Thanks!
love the Waylon cover!!! So heartfelt. Say what you will about his singing, Bob never really had the best singing voice, but rarely, if ever, sang without sincerity. In a world of prefab plastic products, BOB DYLAN IS AUTHENTIC. rare and wonderful.
Time codes are wrong, but who cares. This is gold.
Dit in niet alleen in Amsterdam opgenomen Maar ook in Den Haag en zelf in Zurich Zwitserland als ik het goed heb ,in ieder geval ik was daar in Den Haag en het was ...........echt geweldig man

Hynde is one hell of a singer.
Ali knew what he was doing channeling the spirit of David Ruffin with those glasses on. I don’t see how any of y’all could’ve missed that🤩🔥

I think he still has dreamy eyes. Unfortunately, I was born in 1965 so I missed so much, still, I'm still proud to say I'm a 60's child.

Yes and Yes. Bless Up.🙏
@@PickanikThank you for responding and for uploading, this is a treasure!
Love it ,love Lucinda
Interesting how the term Parrotheads was supposedly coined in Cincinnati in 1985, yet here Jimmy is referring to the audience as Parrotheads after He Went To Paris, and its 1984 🧐
One of the greatest band love you guys

I appreciate you uploading this. It's great to know there's still amazing things for parrotheads to discover even after Jimmy's passing. Hopefully more gems like this will surface. This means a lot. Additional Information----If you search for 1984 Radio Shack Catalog on the Web, You'll find on Page 50 of 184 you find the Mic's that my buddy and I were using back then. It's the Super Cardioid Microphone down towards the bottom of the page...FYI. Definitely the best sounding mic's for a 50 Spot I think I ever heard. I also had the Ultra Compact Stereo Microphone towards the top of the same page. In Clubs and Theater's the combo of that Stereo one Point mic and the D6 was an awesome sounding combo!
Thanks so much for posting this terrific show. I would have been there but instead, I opted for Deep Purple the same night @ Shoreline in Mt.View,Ca. A Taper buddy however was at this show. He was using a Sony WM-D6C and a pair of Realistic mic's that he and I had purchased a couple of years earlier at a Radio Shack in San Francisco. We broke them in at The Dead @ Frost Amphitheater a couple of weeks earlier. Amazingly, though I've not heard my 1st Gen copy of his show in over 20 years, this recording sounds very similar in quality. I'm curious did you record this show or get in a trade? My Buddy who taped this show went by to nick name "Rebel Rick". I traded quite a bit back in the day, so if this is not your Master, Maybe it's a copy of my buddy's recording. By the way, 2 years later, I did SRV ant Concord Pavilion 08/25/1989 using the Sony D-6 and a Pair of Nakamichi CM300's. That show is up on Sugarmegs.org. Check it out! Last SRV show for me was Oakland Coliseum, 12/03/1989 with Jeff Beck (R.I.P.)...Perhaps You were there? Cheers! And thanks again for posting!
The Santana number is "Hannibal"
